Meet  the Guys

Bob Wittman - Acoustic Guitar/Vocals

One of two founding members, Witty is the group's frontman, playing acoustic 6- and 12-string guitars with one mission each gig ... filling the dance floor and keeping it rockin'

Dave Dean - Guitar/Vocals

Originally recruited as a fill-in guitarist, Dave's been playing lead and singing with Tuxedo since 1991. He's an exceptional guitarist who brings a lot of emotion and energy, and big vocals. Dave is also a member of Three Car Garage and Vicious Fish.

John Hill - Drums/Vocals

John's been playing drums in local bands since 1971, and brings an eclectic background of musical styles to his playing and singing. He joined the band in 2007, and is often in demand as a fill in on drums and vocals for a number of other area bands.

Rj Kaufman - Percussion/Vocals

A transplant to Minnesota, Rj joined the band in 2007 and loves playing all the rhythm "toys" as the group's percussionist. He's been performing for years, including a stint with TOAST,
a Denver-based band that opened for Styx in 2005.

Dan Gunderson - Bass

"Gundy" is the newest member to join the band, replacing original member, Mark Ballard, on bass. Dan's been playing bass for more than 35 years and got the bug to be on stage after performing in Godspell the Musical at North Park College in Chicago. A disciple of the great Chicago blues players, Gundy is well known in the Twin Cities music scene.

Mark Ballard - Keyboards/Vocals

After 30 years with The Tuxedo Band, Mark retired in 2015 from full-time playing. But he continues to sit in with the band playing keyboards, guitar and singing. He's a great performer and makes every gig fun with a knack for unique song renditions.
